We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels, or analytics dashboards on this website at this time.

  • Service providers: We use trusted third-party vendors for functions such as Google Workspace tools, email delivery, resume storage, background check processing, and payment processing. These vendors may process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own independent marketing purposes.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Company, clients, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, client information may be transferred, subject to the same privacy protections described here.

Third-Party Services

This website uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google's CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests these fonts, Google may log your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Font Awesome (Cloudflare CDN): We load icons from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare may log request metadata. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, and Google Drive (form submissions): Form data you submit through our contact, care request, job application, and newsletter forms is transmitted through a Google Apps Script endpoint and stored in Google Sheets. Resume uploads submitted through the job application form may also be stored in Google Drive. These services are provided through Google Workspace and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We use these services to receive and organize submissions, contact you about your request or application, and keep intake records for business operations. Access is limited to authorized members of Kindness Home Care Services LLC and trusted service providers who need that access to perform their role.

Health Information and Confidentiality

Health-related information shared with Kindness Home Care Services LLC is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. We recognize that health information is sensitive and we handle it accordingly.

While we are a private-pay home care agency and not a covered entity under HIPAA in all circumstances, we apply HIPAA-aligned best practices to the handling of any health-related information we receive. Caregivers are trained in client confidentiality and are prohibited from sharing client health information with unauthorized parties.

Health information is used solely for care planning, matching, scheduling, and coordination purposes and is shared only as described in the Sharing section above. We encourage visitors not to submit more medical detail through the website forms than is reasonably necessary for an initial intake conversation.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Password-protected Google Workspace tools used for intake and record handling
  • Role-based internal access to care requests, contact inquiries, and job applications

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy and to comply with legal, regulatory, and business obligations.

  • Contact inquiries and newsletter requests: typically retained for customer service follow-up, relationship management, and recordkeeping unless you request deletion and we are not required to keep the record.
  • Care request and service-related records: retained as needed for intake, care coordination, business records, and any applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
  • Job application records: retained for recruiting, hiring decisions, compliance, and recordkeeping for a reasonable period unless a longer retention period is required by law.
  • Resume uploads: retained only as long as needed for recruiting and employment review purposes unless required for compliance or dispute-resolution reasons.

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
